Job Description
Reporting to the Operations Manager Benelux, you contribute to profitable growth of the business. Your main responsibility is to prepare, execute and control the project activities for the assigned region. You team up with clients to prepare safety concepts, resources and budgets. Overseeing the assigned projects you direct, train and audit safety professionals and you ensure projects are executed according to clients expectations and QESH standards. Moreover, you promote teamwork and sharing of best practices. Your responsibilities include prevention of accidents and suspending activities when there is a potential or actual threat to human life, the installation or the environment as well as finding adequate solutions quickly. Enhancing the interest of the organization you build value added partnerships with key clients. You success is tied to client focus, entrepreneurial flair and prompt service.
Requirements
- BSc / MSc degree (e.g. in Chemical Engineering) and courses in Safety Management
- Approximately 6 – 10 years relevant experience in project management in an industrial setting. Experience with Petrochemicals or Energy preferred.
- Minimum of three years experience in a Project Management role
- Proven ability to direct and coach large teams in multiple projects;
- Passion for excellence; dedicated to provide services 24/7
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- People manager with vision and spine; ensuring agreed objectives are met
- Fluent in English and Dutch
- Willingness to travel
