Reporting to the Site Manager, you provide direction and leadership to all staff in Operations or Technical Services. In these challenging roles you drive the performance objectives, asset utilization and cost efficiency of the site. You take ownership for bringing operations or technical services up to standards to assure safety, reliability, cost, supply chain and business targets are met and fully comply with local and global standards. As a leader and role model you promote QESH, continuous improvement and cost saving programs that ensure world class standards and performance. You take pride in your employees and you energize them to seize opportunities and excel as a team. With a process centered approach and passion for operational excellence you share best practices across disciplines, build successful teams and keep team spirit high even under stressful conditions. As member of the Management Team you play a key role in developing strategic opportunities, building the business case for (CAPEX) projects and managing people, assets and budgets. Your vision and implementation skills impress in a demanding environment.

  • MSc in relevant field, e.g. Chemical, Process or Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 15 years progressive experience in the process manufacturing industry
  • Successful leadership experience in manufacturing and performance management is a must
  • People manager with strong focus on safety, total quality and customers
  • Sense of urgency and integrity, a ‘can do’ mentality and hands-on approach
  • Demonstrated ability to set priorities, implement change and drive results through people
  • Good communication skills, including Dutch and English
